"Poor auto insurance account management. People give him good ratings because of the insurance rates he "gives" people, but they don't know, those rates aren't determined by him, they're determined at the corporate level, by region. In the part of his job that he does have control over, he doesn't actually perform. He can't even get insurance effective dates correctly nor does he provide proper responses. He'll issue you insurance policies and cards with 10 day gaps in-between insurance coverage. The worst part is, when you point it out to him, he'll just call you and talk around in circles (without actually doing anything), that way since it was by phone and not email, you have no paper trail later for accountability. When you can finally get him pinned down in an email response, he'll then say to not worry about it and "have patience" the final cards will be fine. Nope. The final cards and policy will still have the same incorrect effective date, even after waiting a couple more weeks. This is a major issue with the MVA. If it appears to them you were driving for over a week with an insurance gap you could have major problems. But, it's no problem for him, he'll just ignore your emails at that point. Do not be fooled by this guy. He's that classic salesman type, who takes credit for things he's not in control of, and the things he is, it's very sloppy effort. His solution to customer service is just to say "Be Blessed" all the time (a cute play on his name), and walk away making you think you feel good, but those are just words. People need real, diligent, account management when it comes to things as serious as auto insurance, not just empty feel good phrases. We never had these kind of problems with Tom, the agent we had before him. This is the second runaround I've had with Blessing over the past several years and the first time around the only way I finally got him to start doing his job was by posting a negative review (at which point I took the review down, once he performed). It was at that moment he was finally fully locked in and handled the issue; but the problem is, you shouldn't have to do that. Your agent should always just put the best diligence and effort into managing your account without it being from motivation due to a bad review."

"Blessings went above and beyond to get my car, RV Trailer and my home covered ,after Progressive had made me cry at least once a week since my husband died in April. I have to wonder if that was the way they always deal with us poor widows. Demanding documentation and pictures and sworn statements, who will and/will not drive my car, raised my premium because my husband of 35 years died, proof that I still lived in my home on and on since April.
